Learn More

Commonwealth University requires a mathematics ability assessment to determine readiness for various courses. Students in particular majors are required to use the ALEKS Placement, Preparation, and Learning system. Other students may choose to use this system to better prepare for classes. The ALEKS placement system covers material from Basic Math through Pre-Calculus and will take approximately 90 minutes to complete. After the assessment, a targeted Prep and Learning Module is available for you to review and better understand this material. The Learning Modules will help you improve your placement and eventual course outcomes.

Prior to your arrival to campus, please access your personal, secure medical chart called The Web Portal using the direct link or QR code below. Once your student campus email is activated, you will enter your Web Portal using your SSO sign-in and password.
